About This Area

The Greater Hood River Area of the Mid-Columbia Gorge includes property from the City of Hood River and all the areas of Hood River Valley south to Parkdale. These areas are broken down into the City, Westside, Eastside, Odell, Dee, and Parkdale all of which are located within Hood River County. This area also includes the small town of Mosier due east on I-84 which is in Wasco County.

Popular areas across the bridge in Washington are White Salmon, Bingen, Trout Lake, Husum/BZ Corner, Snowden, and Lyle. These towns are located within Klickitat County. The areas of Cook/Underwood and Stevenson are within Skamania County.

All of these areas are within a 30 minute drive from downtown Hood River.

• Vacant land is available but is becoming scarcer, often at increased prices.
  Typically, land prices are somewhat lower and land is more plentiful in Washington. Rural Zoning designations in outlying areas should be carefully researched.
